About This Course

It is a well known fact that our universe is created through patterns of frequency and science is now documenting what ancient cultures have known for centuries. Everything that exists on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level vibrates at a particular frequency. Sound has been used for centuries as a tool for healing and transformation. The effects of sound therapy are extremely beneficial as it influences the body by altering its frequency resonance. Sound therapy is becoming an increasingly popular way of ‘re-tuning’ the mind, body and spirit. Sound or ‘sympathetic resonance’ is used to correct any imbalances on all levels of being. The effects of sound are obvious in our every day life. When hear music with a heavy beat for example we experience an energising effect. Not only does sound affect our state of mind but it can actually be used to improve our health.

Crystals have a long tradition of being used for crystal healing. Each variety of crystal has a unique internal structure, which causes it to resonate at a certain frequency. It is this resonance that is said to give crystals their healing abilities. Applying this resonance in a coherent way can help to restore stability and balance to the bodies energy systems, stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms. Crystal therapy is a gentle non-invasive form of alternative healing that works holistically to harmonise the mind, body, emotions and spirit, helping to increase our feeling of well-being, neutralise negativity, lift depression and to help us to become integrated, whole beings. With proper training, a therapist using a crystal can release negative thoughtforms which have taken shape as disease patterns.

Colour Therapy is a non-invasive, relaxing holistic therapy which utilises the energy of colour to bring about a positive and balancing effect on our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. It can therefore be used safely to treat a wide variety of disorders on any or all of these levels. The use of colour as a therapy dates back thousands of years and the effects of colour on our moods, health, thoughts and feelings have been studied by scientists for years. Colour seems to have an effect even on blind people, who are thought to sense colour as a result of energy vibrations created within the body. Today the therapeutic applications of light and colour are being investigated in major hospitals and research centres worldwide. Results indicate that full-spectrum, ultraviolet, coloured, and laser light can have therapeutic value for a range of conditions from chronic pain and depression to immune disorders.

The use of flower essences is classed as vibrational medicine, which incorporates the use of chi energies within living organisms such as plants, gemstones and crystals, water, sunlight and even the foods we eat.   

Accredited by IPHM this is a is a substantial vocational qualification that has been specifically designed to to prepare you for a career as a vibrational therapist.

This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a Vibrational Therapist including the mandatory units, cleansing, energising and resting crystals, crystal placement, including grids and dowsing, visual light spectrum, the healing power of colour, the influence of colour on mood and emotions. You will also learn about the use of colour in food, clothing and the environment, as well as auras, chakra balancing, visualisation, breathing and meditation.

Furthermore, you will learn about sound therapy tools including the voice, a wide range of tuning forks, drums, tingshas, sing bowls, brainwave entrainment, binaural, trypnaural and isochronic tones as well as how to host a sound bath and flower essences.

This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice for vibrational therapy. 

You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide sound therapy services and you will learn about anatomy, physiology and pathology for vibrational therapies.

You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

This course will confirm your competence for employment as a Vibrational Therapist. You will also be eligible to join IPHM and gain insurance as a Vibrational Therapist.

The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) has been developed to provide the general public and health care professionals with a body of regulated professionals, all qualified to accredited levels.

This qualification is approved and accredited by IPHM as being fit for purpose for preparing you for a career as a Vibrational Therapist. Holders of this qualification are eligible to become a professional member of IPHM

Theory elements are covered online in your own home, in your own time and at your own pace via self study using our Virtual Learning Environment. This theory elements are perfectly suited to online delivery therefore they can be delivered and learning assessed online. You will be fully supported by your course tutor who’s role it is to help and guide you through the process from beginning to end. Both your tutor and assessor will ensure that you not only reach your goals but maintain industry and awarding body standards.

Practical elements are brought to life in a treatment room environment which enhances the learning experience. Complusory Interactive Treatment room sessions will be accessed by attending 60 practical training hours at our centre over a period of 26 weeks. 

This is a Practitioner level course

This course is accredited by The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification. It is recommended that you have a level of general education comparable to GCSEs. You should have a caring disposition and be committed to fulfilling both Practical and Theory Elements. You must meet the required Guided Learning Hours (GLH) by attending our centre for the Practical Elements and by working through the Theory Elements, taking part in online discussions, assessments and reviews with your tutor and assessor via our Virtual Learning Environment. Practical elements may be of mixed sex and learners will be required to work on each other.

Virtual Learning Resource

Upon enrolment you will be able to login and access your course content. Simply progress through each section and lecture, complete all your written assignments and upload them for marking. Upon completion you will be required to attend our Assessment centre here in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester for internal observations as part of your final assessment.

Case Studies

You must carry out and document evidence for at least 40 treatments on a minimum of five clients to consolidate the learning and practice skills required. Each case study must include a client questionnaire, lifestyle assessment, consent form, consultation record, treatment record, after care advice and client feedback.

Duration

This course can be completed in a minimum of  9 months, on average it takes 12 months to complete the practical and theory elements.
